Refugee Nurses and Midwives Programme in London
Would you like to get into work in the NHS and eventually register as a nurse or midwife in the UK?
The Building Bridges Partnership, in collaboration with the NHS, are now recruiting Refugee Nurses and Midwives living in London to join a programme to progress into Health Care Support Worker roles in the NHS – and longer term to register as nurses and midwives.
The programme is made up of
- One to one appointments with a specialist careers adviser to get information, advice and guidance
- Employment and professional development training
- Language preparation for the OET exam
- Placement in an NHS Hospital (subject to confirmation)
- Funding for NMC registration exams
To be eligible to join the programme you will need to be a qualified nurse or midwife, have a good level of English and meet other eligibility requirements.
