Refugee Nurses and Midwives Programme in London

Would you like to get into work in the NHS and eventually register as a nurse or midwife in the UK?

The Building Bridges Partnership, in collaboration with the NHS, are now recruiting Refugee Nurses and Midwives living in London to join a programme to progress into Health Care Support Worker roles in the NHS – and longer term to register as nurses and midwives.

The programme is made up of

  • One to one appointments with a specialist careers adviser to get information, advice and guidance
  • Employment and professional development training
  • Language preparation for the OET exam
  • Placement in an NHS Hospital (subject to confirmation)
  • Funding for NMC registration exams

To be eligible to join the programme you will need to be a qualified nurse or midwife, have a good level of English and meet other eligibility requirements.
