The role is physically demanding & the successful candidate will need to be conscientious, work to a high standard and adhere to strict hygiene and safety rules. This role is permanent and covers a wide range of duties.

 Specific duties will include:

  • Operating bottle washing machine and various filling machines.
  • Cleaning bottle washing machine and various filling machines.
  • Various other cleaning duties.
  • Picking of Orders within the cold store
  • Making up of orders from loading list/delivery notes.
  • Loading and unloading of wagons

Duties:-

  • Agree to undertake and adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
  • Agree to undertake & adhere to all hygiene rules.
  • Agree to undertake and adhere to all work instructions and procedures.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and adopt a clean as you go attitude.
  • Report accidents & near misses to Management.
  • Take instruction from all Management.
  • Document data as requested by Management.
  • Wear protective clothing/overalls, safety footwear and any other safety equipment as required.
  • Operate bottle washing machine, bottle filling machine, poly filling machine and carton filling machine.
  • Stripping down/washing and rebuilding the filling machines.
  • Washing of dairy walls, floors, forecourts and loading bays.
  • Making up of orders from loading list/delivery notes.
  • Ensure good stock rotation.
  • Fridging and infringing products, loading and unloading of wagons
  • Cleaning duties inc. canteen, cloakroom and toilet
  • Van sales doorstep and wholesale deliveries.
  • You must ensure you have the relevant training to undertake all your duties or tasks if not inform your Manager.

The position is based around a 5-day working week one of which may include a Saturday.

An average of 40 – 48 hours per week. The salary rate of £10.39 increasing to £10.89 upon successful completion of the 6-month probationary period.

Added Bonus of £250 upon successful completion of 6-month probationary period.

A company pension scheme is also in place.

Assistance with travel to and from local areas will be available should this be needed.
