Job Description
The Vavengers is looking for a part-time Project Manager to join our team and continue the implementation of our Reaching Out To Your Community Program for the next 6 months with potential for a longer-term contract.
The Project
Reaching Out To Your Community (ROTYC) is a Peckham based community support and Covid-19 response program for refugees, asylum seekers, victims of domestic abuse and survivors of FGM/C. Our work supports Sarian Kamara of Keep The Drum Lose the Knife (KDLK) who leads the program with funding and assistance from The Vavengers.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the (ROTYC) and have a lead role in The Vavengers organisation. You will be required to handle the monitoring & evaluation, marketing and fundraising for the project as well as developing partnerships with specialist organisations to support our beneficiaries. This role will include regular feedback to the rest of The Vavengers team on progress and updates.
Requirements

- Experience/training in safeguarding and working with vulnerable communities.
- Project management and fundraising experience in the charity sector.
- Experience working with one or all of the following communities the project seeks to support: (Survivors of FGM/C or domestic abuse, refugees and asylum seekers)
